Shred Expectations is a personal design manifesto divided into five parts. The distortion and layout of the zines intend to add a narrative to the skateboarding and feminist-focused content. As the zines progress in chronological order, the distorted images and text become less pronounced as the layouts become less congested and easier to read. This publication is a celebration of women in skateboarding, designed and curated with a focus on understanding past distortions to inform the present using female skateboarding as the subject.
