Shred Expectations is a personal design manifesto divided into five parts. The distortion and layout of the zines are meant to add a narrative to the skateboarding and feminism focused content. As the zines progress in chronological order, the distorted images and text wane as the layouts become less congested and easier to read. This publication is a celebration of women in skateboarding, designed and curated with a focus on understanding past distortions to be informed on something, using female skateboarding as an example, clearly in the present.
